30 years of Sylvester: Flemish Brabant production house celebrates 30th anniversary with hybrid event full of inspiration and connection

Flemish-Brabant production house Sylvester, known for its innovative approach in TV, video and events, celebrated three decades of success with a unique hybrid event. The celebration, held on 30 November and 1 December, reflected Sylvester’s core values: inspiration, creativity and connection.

The aim of this two-day event: to meet and inspire partners and customers physically and in an informal atmosphere. In the beautiful setting of Canapé Tervuren, and with VRT journalist Meryem El Mandoudi as sympathetic host, Sylvester brought customers, partners and staff together in a setting that was both convivial and intriguing.

The first day focused on ’employer branding’, with keynotes by Ann De Bisschop (The Circle of Wellbeing) and Lode Godderis (IDEWE). The second day focused on ‘trends and artificial intelligence’, with presentations by Tom Palmaerts (Trendwolves) and Frederik De Bosschere (In The Pocket, Computer Club). Computer scientist and ‘Nerdlander’ Jeroen Baert closed the two sessions with an engaging – and sometimes hilarious – talk on A.I.

Also a noted passage was CEO Geert Vanoverschelde’s speech, to the tunes of ‘Viva La Vida’ by Coldplay, and accompanied by musicians from the Sylvester team. This unique ‘parlando’ nicely symbolised Sylvester’s creative and innovative spirit.

“In 30 years, Sylvester has created a world of stories and experiences. This anniversary is not only a birthday, but also a celebration inspiration and connection. Our journey is about more than projects; it is about creating impact together. ” – Geert Vanoverschelde, CEO Sylvester

Afterwards, there was time for chats and networking, during the walking dinner provided by Canapé Tervuren, under the culinary direction of chef Jeroen De Pauw. Afterwards, the party guests could also put their best foot forward.

The ‘Sylvester touch’, a combination of creativity, enthusiasm and connection, was present in every aspect of the event. The Sylvester team created an experience that not only inspired, but also emphasised the strong connection with customers and partners.

Moreover, the event was 100% hybrid, and fully digital via Sylvester’s virtual event platform MEEPLE. Sylvester will continue to share content via online channels and social media at regular intervals in the coming weeks as well, so that everyone can (re)experience the event. A nice souvenir for those who were there, a unique opportunity for those who missed it. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
