After a great edition of Awakenings Easter Festival in April 2022, Awakenings returned to Spaarnwoude Park in May 2023 for the two-day Awakenings Spring Festival. Veldeman’s challenge: to safely house visitors for two days in magnificent and comfortable festival tents.
With The Boxx, Veldeman provided an impressive eye-catcher! After an initial successful installation at Awakenings Easter Festival, The Boxx was scaled up to an even larger structure of up to 50m by 55m for Awakenings Spring Festival. The insulated wall panels, aluminium on the outside and anthracite on the inside, matched the look and feel of the festival perfectly. Thanks to the interior height of more than 13m and high roof load, the technical producers were more than happy with The Boxx. This allowed them to give free rein to their creativity with lights and special effects.
In addition to The Boxx, Veldeman also built 2 TFS tent structures. After more than 20 years of presence at Awakenings, these structures have since become an iconic trademark for the festival.
