All you need to know about the event sector

All you need to know about the event sector

Are you also choosing to study in the event sector? – BESA

Now that most high school students have graduated, it is time to choose a new course of study. We hope that they will also enthusiastically choose studies that lead to jobs in our sector! We are happy to provide a list.

The last week of June is traditionally the week of proclamations. Many young people complete their secondary studies and embark on two or more months of summer holidays. They then start the next phase in their professional life with fresh courage. Some take their first steps on the labor market, others register for further training.

Because we strive for professionalization of our sector together with BESA and the other event federations under the banner of the Event Confederation, we would like to put the spotlight on a few study options in higher education that will hopefully appeal to many enthusiastic young people. Now that it is still so difficult to fill all vacancies in our sector, we need a whole new group of well-trained AV technicians and other event people.
