A unique collaboration to celebrate Belgian craftsmanship
In the heart of Brussels, on the famous Boulevard de Waterloo, is The Hotel, which has always positioned itself at the intersection of fashion and lifestyle. This year, the hotel is collaborating with Louis Appelmans, an emerging Belgian designer. A graduate of La Cambre and already noticed on international stages, Louis has worked with major fashion houses such as Kenzo, Dior and Louis Vuitton, before launching his own brand, Hotel Louis, in 2023. His speciality? Modernising the silk scarf by reinterpreting it with an artistic and contemporary twist.
Unique silk scarf ‘made in Italy’ inspired by The Hotel
The collaboration between Louis Appelmans and The Hotel came about thanks to MAD Brussels. The Hotel gave him a free hand to create a unique piece inspired by the hotel. The result? A silk scarf, made in Italy, that captures the elegance of the hotel rooms and offers a vivid view of Brussels. At once modern and sophisticated, this scarf is a beautiful tribute to the meeting of fashion and hospitality.
The official launch will take place on 28 November 2024 during the BEL PRIZE, an event not to be missed, where this collaboration will be proudly unveiled.
