At the end of last year, ACC and Event Confederation announced an operational collaboration between the two umbrella associations: the members of ACC’s Expert Center Event Marketing also automatically become members of Event Confederation’s Cluster Event Agencies. In this way, they can take full advantage of all ACC’s services to the agencies and all Event Confederation’s services for the entire event sector, which was previously reserved for federations only.
The transition to this new Cluster coincides with the change of chairman: after three years of directing ACC’s Expert Center Event Marketing, Karin Van Passel (d-sidegroup) passes the torch to Michel Van Camp (New Balls Please).
Michel Van Camp: ‘I am very pleased and honoured that the members of the Expert Center Event Marketing have chosen me as their new delegate to steer the transition to the Cluster Event Agencies in cooperation with ACC and Event Confederation. We face great challenges as an industry and I am happy to build on this, together with Christine, Johan, Mike and all our members.’
ACC also stops short of thanking Karin Van Passel for her very passionate commitment as president over the past three years and also counts on her enthusiastic support in the future.
