A successful challenge for the Golden Lakes team! Last January, the hotel on the banks of Lake l’Eau d’Heure in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes hosted the Federation of Notaries for a business seminar. A special feature of the event was that the capacity of the rooms had been reached, so a marquee had to be set up on the edge of the lake to meet the specific needs of the client.
The Golden Lakes Hotel recently experienced a first that marks the organisation of seminars at Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure: the installation of a 300m2 marquee with large bay windows.
The Fédération des Notaires de la Fédération Wallonie Bruxelles had chosen to place its trust in the Golden Lakes Hotel. However, as the 500m2 of seminar rooms were monopolised for the organisation of meetings, it was necessary to innovate to find a place to gather visitors for the part dedicated to catering.
As the initial capacity of the infrastructure had been reached, the Les Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure seminar team had to find a solution to ensure the well-being and comfort of all members of the Federation of Notaries. This first event also highlighted the challenges the seminar team sometimes faces.
This first event also showed the challenges sometimes faced by the seminar team, as the 7 multi-purpose, modular seminar rooms were occupied for up to 600 people, so they had to be original and creative to meet client needs.
The solution proposed to them was to set up a marquee on the edge of the lake, with high-quality furnishings. In this 300 sq m tent, seminar participants could eat and spend their evening.
This first event was a great success and the attendees were very satisfied, having had a great time in a green environment that was a complete change of scenery.
