On 27 October, I was a guest at a Speed Dating event organised by the Accor Business Development Team at the Novotel Brussels City Center. Topic of the day was ‘Sustainability’. ‘Sustainability’ is the new ‘digital’ revolution. After all, it requires a systematic approach, investments, training and a different mindset. At the Accor hotel group, sustainability stands for long-term commitment and dedication, and has done so since 1970. During the workshop, guest speakers explained the entire sustainability process at the group. Subsequently, the guests were introduced to dozens of the group’s hotels from Belgium, the Netherlands and France via Speed Dating.
