Act!events opens two new gas stations for Total!
With the opening of 2 brand new gas stations in Nazareth and two guarded truck parking lots in Kruishoutem, Total has further expanded its network in East Flanders. Act!events was commissioned to organise a safe and dynamic official opening.
In Total Nazareth Zuid (in the direction of Ghent) the modern Lunch Garden was furnished as an event location where approximately 90 guests were welcomed with a delicious breakfast. In addition to the press, Flemish Prime Minister Geert Bourgeois, representatives of the European Commission and the Belgian Petroleum Federation, the mayors of Kruishoutem and Nazareth and the management team of Total were present.
An interesting press conference was followed by the official and symbolic opening. Geert Bourgeois, and others, cut the ribbon. Everyone was then ferried in buses to the 2 new guarded truck parking lots and service buildings in Kruishoutem for a visit. In the presence of, among others, the mayors of Nazareth and Kruishoutem, Total received a quality label of the European Commission for these high-security parking lots.
At the end of the visit everyone was treated to a walking lunch.
Act!events demonstrated its safety know-how by taking the necessary measures required at a gas station. Efficiency and a strict set-up and build-down timing were crucial to limit disruption to the operational service station as much as possible. A challenge we passed with flying colours!
