Belgocatering strengthens events branch with acquisition of Dîner Privé

Belgocatering, a leading player in the catering sector, is acquiring renowned event caterer Dîner Privé. Dîner Privé is known for its exceptional service and culinary excellence. This strategic acquisition strengthens Belgocatering’s offering and reshapes the event catering landscape in Belgium.

On Thursday 27 June, Belgocatering and Dîner Privé signed an agreement to merge their operations. The takeover, which takes immediate effect, gives both companies extra clout in the competitive (event) catering sector. Both companies will continue to operate under their own names.

Jan Verhelle, Managing Director of Dîner Privé: “Joining forces with Belgocatering is an exciting development for Dîner Privé. Our shared commitment to quality and customer satisfaction makes this collaboration a perfect match. We look forward to a bright future together.”

The acquisition of Dîner Privé stems from Belgocatering’s commitment to expand its offering and increase capacities. Dîner Privé’s reputation for high-quality event catering and innovative, tailor-made culinary solutions aligns perfectly with Belgocatering’s mission to offer exceptional culinary experiences.

This acquisition allows both parties to significantly expand their offerings. Belgocatering can now offer a wider range of catering services, such as bespoke private dining and catering for large events. At the same time, Dîner Privé gains access to Belgocatering’s expertise and client portfolio. The collaboration ensures a higher level of service and culinary surprises. Innovation remains a spearhead for both companies, which makes for interesting cross-pollinations.

Stefano Teatini, General Manager of Belgocatering: “We are delighted to welcome Dîner Privé to the Belgocatering family. This acquisition is an important milestone in our growth strategy and we are extremely excited about the opportunities it brings. Together, we will develop new standards in event catering.”

Jan Verhelle will stay on board for at least three years to lead the integration of both events units. The combined entity is focused on seamlessly integrating their operations to provide clients with a unified and superior catering experience. The immediate priorities are to expand the service offering and maintain the high standards for which both companies are known. Future plans include expanding market reach, exploring new culinary paths and further building strong relationships with customers and partners.
