What a fantastic experience it was, my stay in 5 stars resort Casa Di Langa. I like the Piemonte region. This beautiful wine country has been on my holiday schedule several times. This year, however, I will not soon forget my Italian journey, after all, Casa di Langa is more than worth its 5 stars.
Among the Langhe hills, from which on particularly clear days you can also enjoy the Alpine skyline, with the Monviso towering motionless, stands Casa di Langa, a 5 stars resort, which opened in Spring 2021. It’s a green heaven surrounded by nature, among hazelnut groves and vineyards of Cerretto Langhe in Alta Langa.
The resort consists of 39 rooms and suites, bistro, restaurant, cocktail bar, swimming pool, gym, and SPA.
Upon arrival you immediately slip into the right atmosphere as the location invites to be discovered. I am welcomed with a nice doppio while I wait for my room, or should I say suite. The ‘room with a view’ over the beautiful region assigned to me is impressive. The suite is also well equipped. Take the Dyson hairdryer for instance, I had never encountered this in a hotel room before. The bathroom has a large rain shower, toilet, and sink, all very spacious. The terrace is also colossal, with sunbeds, sitting area, and a beautiful panorama over Piemonte.
Culinary
The culinary offer of the resort is structured into three dedicated areas: the Fàula Ristorante Gourmet, the Bistrot area and the Sorì Cocktail Bar upstairs. Fàula is Piedmontese meaning ‘tale’. Chef Daniel Zeilinga tells his tale by signing his delicious dishes which are the result of years of studies and in-depth analysis on the raw material and above all on the products offered by the territory. Hence, Chef Zeilinga has been dedicating his time to discover the local producers and the resort’s own produce. You can also taste this at breakfast. All ingredients are fresh, such as the delicious herbal tea, freshly made with tea leaves straight from the hotel garden.
