From September 2023, Corsendonk Hotels will have a new addition: the Sky Venue by Corsendonk Hotels. A unique meeting and event venue located in the well-known Turno Tower in the city of Turnhout.
Unique of its kind
You will soon feel literally and figuratively ‘on top of the world’ at Sky Venue by Corsendonk Hotels. This meeting and event location will open its doors after the summer and will offer the opportunity to organise meetings and events on the 17th floor of the Turno Tower. Guests will be able to enjoy a unique 360° view of Turnhout and the surrounding area, as well as the renowned hospitality and high-quality workmanship of Corsendonk Hotels. The meeting and event location is unique of its kind. Because Sky Venue by Corsendonk Hotels will be the first venue in the area with these facilities, at a height of up to 70 metres!
Both large and small groups can enjoy this asset, because with its five modular meeting rooms, it is suitable for any type of gathering. Naturally, this new venue could not pass up the opportunity to make a proud reference to what Turnhout is really known for: playing cards. That is why the names of the meeting rooms give a nod to the card deck, such as ‘King of Diamonds’ and ‘King of Clubs’. When these rooms are combined, they form the ‘Kissing Kings’. This last name therefore sounds familiar to card game enthusiasts. Because when you open a new deck, these two cards will meet in the middle of the deck. When all the rooms are combined, Sky Venue by Corsendonk Hotels has a capacity for almost 200 people.
In the afternoon, there is the opportunity to enjoy a fresh and rich lunch at Corsendonk Turnova, within walking distance of the venue. But thanks to the cooperation with various local brasseries, bistros and restaurants (including well-known star chef Alex Verhoeven), there is also the possibility of turning this productive and inspiring day into a gastronomic experience. A unique advantage? Star restaurant ‘Hert’ is the upstairs neighbour of Sky Venue by Corsendonk Hotels.
Overnight stay
To make a meeting or event even more enjoyable, it is also possible to end the productive day with a comfortable and luxurious overnight stay at Corsendonk Turnova. All hotel guests enjoy the wellness on the third floor of the hotel, with water paradise, sauna and infrared sauna, relaxation room. In the morning, guests can join a rich breakfast buffet.
