All you need to know about the event sector

New & growing MICE events in Brussels in autumn – Visit.brussels

In September, Brussels will be hosting a series of major events. AMI Plastics World is coming to Brussels Expo for the first time on 11 and 12 September, having previously been held in Germany. This must-attend plastics event will bring together industry leaders and offer exceptional networking sessions. You can register for free here.

A few days later, Token Europe will make its debut at the Square on 18 and 19 September. This innovative summit, dedicated to new technologies and the tokenisation of real assets, will bring together pioneers of the sector to discuss Europe’s digital future.

Free registration is now open for the European Week of Regions and Cities from 7 to 10 October, an annual key event for Europe’s regional players. It has grown to become a neutral platform to discuss common challenges for Europe’s regions and cities by bringing together a diverse community of speakers and participants.

On 23 and 24 September, in the Stanhope hotel, some 200+ stakeholders will come together for the second edition of RAID (Regulation of AI, Internet & Data) . 2024’s theme will be “Innovate, Regulate and Implement with Courage and Caution”. The event is scheduled to return to the capital of Europe annually. Speakers confirmed this year include: Didier Reynders , European Commissioner for Justice; Anu Talus, Chair, European Data Protection Board; Katherine Harman-Stokes, Acting Director, Office of Privacy and Civil Liberties, US Department of Justice; Dr Leonardo Cervera Navas, Secretary General, European Data Protection Supervisor; and many more. From 8 to 10 October, the Egg will welcome the second edition of Li-ion battery conference 2024 to discuss the full Li-ion Battery value chain, latest advancements, sharing insights, and exchanging ideas on how to improve the performance, reliability, and safety of Li-ion batteries. Register here.

 FARI Conference 2024 is a growing, recurrent event in Brussels since 2022 and returns on 18 and 19 November to Flagey. FARI Conference promises to provide insightful experiences and discussion for AI, Data, and Robotics experts and enthusiasts. You can register here.

 Home – European Hydrogen Week (euhydrogenweek.eu ) is the biggest annual event dedicated to hydrogen. It takes place every year at Brussels Expo with an expanding number of participants. This year, from 18 to 22 November, some 8,000 participants are expected, and you can register for free here.

The IAPP Europe Data Protection Congress 2024 will take place on 20 and 21 November at Square Brussels.
