Radisson Blu en Park Inn Antwerp roll up their sleeves
Everyone knows Central Station in Antwerp. The square in front of the station, Astrid Square, is the busiest place in the city. Every day, hundreds of people pass by. The two hotels on the square thought the city cleaning service could certainly use some extra hands to clean the square. That is why the Radisson Blu and Park Inn employees teamed up with Opsinjoren – a local neighborhood initiative – and the cleaning services of City of Antwerp. This way, the hotels want to motivate their teams and the neighbors to contribute to more livable surroundings.
Both the Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel and the Park Inn by Radisson Antwerp participated in the cleaning action. Warmly dressed and armed with the necessary maintenance equipment, everyone rolled up their sleeves to make the square shine again.
The cleaning of the square is part of the Responsible Business plan of the hotels. Both hotels commit on a daily basis to conduct business in a responsible way. This action is a clear signal that it is important for them that the surroundings of the hotels have to remain livable for everyone.
