Last time I stayed at Radisson Blu Nice it was 2017, meanwhile the hotel has been completely renovated!
When you arrive at the Radisson Blu Nice, you can count on an excellent valet service, nice to not have to worry about a parking space after a long car journey.
The renovated lobby looks pleasantly fresh with lots of natural light, the check-in went very smoothly, and I received a nice upgrade: a room with a sea view. Personally, I think such a breathtaking panorama is a must if you stay in this hotel. After all, who wouldn’t want the legendary ‘Promenade des Anglais’ as a backdrop during his/her stay. So, I’m very happy with this upgrade. All 331 rooms of the hotel have also been completely renovated. In addition, the rooms are well equipped, and 55% of all rooms have a spacious terrace.
The Radisson Blu has many assets to offer. Take restaurant ‘Calade’ for instance, where Julia Sedefdjian rules. She is the youngest Michelin-starred chef in France and serves refined cuisine. This restaurant is located on the 8th floor, on the rooftop, where you will also find the bar and private swimming pool. This rooftop is breathtaking, according to some people even the most impressive of the entire Promenade! From the rooftop you can see the planes landing, just beautiful.
The Hotel exploits a private beach ‘Regence Plage’, a nice lunch restaurant at the beach with sunbeds for which hotel guests receive a favorable rate.
Radisson Blu Nice is also the right choice for business. 1,400m2 of meeting space that can accommodate up to 320 participants, as well as 11 meeting rooms (7 with daylight) and about 20 suites that can serve as break-out rooms. The professional staff is always available to help organize your event.
Nice and the surrounding area remain highly recommended, and the Radisson Blu is the perfect base camp from which to explore the region. Looking forward to my next visit! Wood Approved!
