At the Brussels-based event centre Business Faculty, everyone is delighted. None of our employees or their children have been bad this year – and Saint Nicholas personally honoured the venue with a visit to deliver the good news. He even brought presents and pancakes for the children of all Xylos employees.
Pancake day
Every year, Xylos employees and their children celebrate Saint Nicholas’s day at Business Faculty. “It’s a popular tradition. We all look forward to it every year”, says Inge Van Roy, HR Business Partner at Xylos. “When we see the bright smiles, wonder and excitement on the children’s faces when they meet Saint Nicholas, we get just as thrilled as they do.”

“The event location is ideal as well”, Inge continues. “At Business Faculty, Saint Nicholas and his helpers aren’t the only ones who pamper us: the Business Faculty team does as well. They prepare the celebration down to the tiniest details. The venue decorations, the activities and the catering were an absolute hit: first, the children could play in a bouncy castle and professional balloon artists whipped up all sorts of unique balloon animals for them. To keep their energy levels up, they were then treated to a delicious all-you-can-eat buffet of speculoos biscuits, waffles and pancakes with Nutella. The Saint Nicholas celebration was a big success”, Inge concludes.
