This boutique hotel is a must, I suggest putting it on your bucket list! The hotel has 42 rooms, a private fitness, 2 massage cabins and a boardroom. The location of the hotel is perfect to discover Palma de Mallorca, close to the center and yet very quiet on Placa de Sant Francesc.
From the moment you arrive, you feel more than welcome in this genuine gem. Don’t worry about parking since you can always opt to use the valet parking, which the hotel offers for €30.
The Sant Francesc Hotel is housed in a mid-19th century mansion. And its character has been preserved, which makes the hotel even more charming. The check-in (24h) went very smoothly, and I was soon able to explore my beautiful suite. Equipped with a four-poster bed, spacious bathroom with shower and designer bath. The walk-in dressing was also very handy with plenty of room, especially when your wife has not yet decided which outfit she will wear during the evening. Additionally, the suite has a very charming terrace, overlooking the other suites and mezzanine.
I also had a reservation in Quadrat, the restaurant of the hotel. The atmosphere in the restaurant immediately gave me a good feeling. Here, I was going to experience a fantastic evening, thanks to the beautiful wine list and a very varied menu, with of course a nod to the Majorcan cuisine. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday, but only open for lunch on Sunday. Every week the chef puts together a new menu.
Sant Francesc Hotel boasts a breathtaking rooftop that is also accessible to external parties during summer evenings. After the nice breakfast, buffet and à la carte menu, we decided to stay on the roof terrace. Indeed, a Spanish sun in December with a view over the beautiful city of Palma, put this hotel at the top of your list.
