January 2017 the Stanhope Hotel was named as one of the 10 best luxury hote ls in Belgium on TripAdvisor, and is labelled as “Travellers’ Choice” on the website.

Classic five-star hotel
The hotel façade was renovated in 2016, and this year an extensive refurbishment program began under the supervision of Olav Thon Gruppen’s head designer Sissel Berdal Haga and Ramsoeskar Interior Architect’s Trond Ramsoeskar.

The new interior and décor stays true to the Stanhope’s classic style, and fuses contemporary design with timeless details and the property’s heritage.

The Stanhope Hotel first openedits doors in 1991. The hotel consistsof three connecting 19th-century town houses: The House of Presidents, the House of Lords and The House of Ambassadors, as well as a newer building: The House of Queens.
