As a creative event agency, we are always looking for the next big thing to continue to surprise our clients with innovative and unforgettable experiences. One of the most rewarding technological innovations that has come our way is artificial intelligence (AI). AI offers endless possibilities to create creative and engaging experiences like never before.
From pitch to prompt to art
This spring, we teamed up with De Tijd and L’Echo to organize the Changemakers Awards 2024 – a prestigious event celebrating Belgian companies with promising sustainable and green solutions. Over 200 projects were submitted, from which a professional jury selected 30 nominees. Each company presented its solution in a one-page pitch. One by one fascinating, but sometimes difficult to understand without the necessary background knowledge.
We knew there had to be a better way. By bringing in AI, we were able to present the essence and ingenuity of each solution in a whole new light. ChatGPT helped us understand and translate the finalists’ ideas and concepts, while Midjourney brought these ideas to life as stunning visual artworks. On the evening of the award show, these were given a nice place in the AI Vernissage, providing the finalists with a unique platform to present themselves and offering the audience a surprising and engaging experience.

Masterpieces reimagined
A few weeks later, Tropicana invited its leadership team for strategic workshops on the Belgian coast and a visit to their factory in Zeebrugge. And because no great idea has ever come from a dull, gray meeting room, we brought them to Mu.Zee. There, amidst the impressive works of James Ensor and Léon Spilliaert, they could discover a truly unique collection.
A collection of classic masterpieces with a Tropicana twist: Monet’s water lilies grew oranges, Magritte’s apple was replaced by an orange with a red-and-white striped straw, The Last Supper served a fruit buffet… The result was an inspiring working environment, and the artworks later found a home in the Tropicana offices.

AI as a dream factory
When presenting a proposal to our clients, we believe it’s important for them to fully grasp the atmosphere and concept of the event. And although we can already see the idea in our minds very vividly, clients often need visual support to start dreaming. That’s why we always include a mood board during a pitch that captures the event’s vibe. But for innovative and creative ideas, existing photos and visuals often fall short.
Midjourney is a real game changer there. This AI-driven technology allows us to transform our creative visions into impressive visual representations. What once existed only in our minds, we can now bring to life with detailed and realistic images. This not only helps our clients to better understand our concept, but also allows them to truly start dreaming.
Realtime translations and subtitles
Did you know we also use AI technology to provide real-time translations and subtitles at our events? Guests can listen to the keynote in their own language through headphones, or they can read real-time subtitles on their screen in the language of their choice. This makes our events widely accessible and inclusive for participants from different language backgrounds – and for those with hearing impairments.
For us, AI is no longer just a tool but a (now indispensable) creative partner that helps us push boundaries even further. Whether it’s turning complex ideas into unique works of art, creating inspiring environments, or making our events accessible to a wide audience… By embracing AI, we can create events that not only impress, but also leave a lasting impact.
And let’s face it… experimenting with the endless possibilities of AI is just plain fun. How about a corporate dinner deep under the sea or in the middle of the Grand Canyon? With AI, no idea is too crazy 🙂
