The Outsider Aalst challenges companies with Dendertrophy

Forget meeting rooms and office environments!

If it depends on The Outsider, you will meet your colleagues on 27 April not at your workplace, but in the fresh open air.

The leisure specialist will organise the very first Dendertrophy: a unique event to bring colleagues, but also different companies from the region, closer together in a (dis)exciting way.

The starting signal for the Dendertrophy will be given at noon on Saturday 27 April. “Each team of four will then be presented with a series of tests in which the Dender plays the leading role,” explains Reno De Moor, manager of The Outsider Aalst. “Successfully completing these requires a mix of skills, from brute force to spatial insight.

In short: these are real team-based challenges, which will strengthen the bonds between colleagues. Whether you win the Dendertrophy or not, you will cross the finish line as a stronger group anyway.”

Teamwork, adventure and relaxation

Exactly which tasks the teams can expect remains a surprise.

“In any case, there will be several adventurous ‘Outsider’ tests,” says De Moor. The sporting component of the tasks will give the participants a chance to let off some steam. Afterwards, it will be time to unwind with a barbecue in the relaxing green surroundings of The Outsider. “Supporters – colleagues who did not participate – can also register for this. That way, the Dendertrophy becomes one big networking event, where you can also build valuable new business relationships in an informal environment.”
