Spring brings a lot of good news and entertainment for the Dinant region. On the agenda: resumption of our flagship activities (kayaking on the Lesse, caving initiatives, etc.) and presentation of our accommodation offer, because yes, the family has grown again… So get your diary ready for a season rich in emotions!
The first paddle of the year – Descente de la Lesse
The region’s unmissable event is making a comeback! You may have already seen them, the first lucky ones of the season have already been able to paddle down the Lesse in our kayaks! Indeed, on Saturday 15 April we announced the opening of the Gendron-Anseremme course (12 km), today it is the Houyet-Anseremme course (21 km) that opens its doors! Currently, access to the Lesse is subject to certain conditions due to the water level (min 15 and life jacket required), but these should be relaxed soon.
Our teams are already looking forward to the excitement of this seasonal activity!
It happens under your feet… – Caving
Every first Sunday of the month, you can take part in an initiation caving session organised by ‘Dinant Evasion’.
Led by an instructor, you will descend into the bowels of the earth and discover galleries full of history. Between narrow passages and large spaces, caving offers a perfect balance between nature and sport. An original discipline, accessible from 12 years old, to discover with friends or family!
The second outing of the season is scheduled for next Sunday, 7 May.
Cruise speed – Cruises on the Meuse
Depart from the famous croisette in Dinant and live an immersive experience in the heart of the Meuse Valley. Our river cruises combine relaxation, history and architecture and are punctuated by an audio presentation of the scenery.
The occasional winter departures will be replaced by more frequent spring departures! In fact, our boats will offer cruises (of 45 minutes or 2 hours) every weekend in April, and from May our boats will sail every day.

After a long period of wintering, our special accommodations have recently been back in the water!
For a few hours or several days, on the quay or underway, our small boats, decorated like real floating campers, welcome you for timeless moments.
After a short training session with our skipper, take the helm and set off for a river trip in complete autonomy!
