On 20 December 2024, John&Jane organised the Together Stronger concert in Ruiselede church to benefit The Warmest Week. A local initiative that raised no less than 13,900 euros to fight loneliness. The performance by Astrid Stockman and Ella Michiels was hugely appreciated and there is already demand for a second edition.

Credit to Ruiselede’s event partner John&Jane. They provide daily technical support for events in terms of lighting, sound, video and décor. They put that expertise to use for The Warmest Week to raise money and flame out against loneliness together with their partners and sponsors.
‘We think it’s important to give back to society,’ says Katrien Vermeire, managing partner of John&Jane. ‘The concert sold out in no time and raised 13,900 euros for charity. With 400 attendees, we deliberately kept it small-scale, but with a big impact.’
Creating impact
The turnout, the enthusiasm and the amount raised make it clear that Stronger Together was a success. ‘We owe that to our sponsors. Pianos Maene, Controllux, Elvebo, Stretched and seventeen more gave financial support to this event so we could make it something wonderful,’ says Katrien. ‘From John&Jane, we were responsible for the sound, lighting, video images and décor. This showed not only our professional activity, but also how we turn events into experiences and memories. Our mission is to take events to the next level. That is also happiness here, with connectedness as the central theme.’
In addition to the sponsors, John&Jane would also like to thank the attendees and everyone who made the event a success. ‘We want to maintain this momentum and are already looking forward to bringing people together again next year,’ she says. ‘Local initiatives have the power to support people and create impact. That’s what we’re going for.’
