Back in 2021, the Beer Castle welcomed the production team of the entrepreneurial programme “Goe Bezig!”. The filming then took place in Michelle’s VIP Room, an event location with the look and feel of an atmospheric brown pub. For the second season, the beautiful barrel room was chosen. While the beer is maturing in the wooden barrels, young and more experienced entrepreneurs share their stories.
The Bierkasteel in Izegem houses numerous different event locations. One of these is the barrel room where the special beer is maturing in wooden barrels – also called foeders. The location is a real eye-catcher and is very popular with wedding couples who hold their ceremony there. The barrel room also offers many possibilities for corporate events. From a workshop to a presentation to a recording studio: you ask, the Bierkasteel turns.
