Punta del Este, one of Uruguay’s most popular beach resorts, is not only the epicentre for holidaymakers attracted to its beautiful beaches, but also for partygoers because of its vibrant nightlife.
At this glamorous hotspot, the largest temporary event structure in South America was built for the Open Park season in the El Placer region: a Veldeman TFS ten structure 40m wide and 80m long.
From 1 December 2023 to 31 January 2024 – summer season in the southern hemisphere – this temporary event venue will host various music events, festivals and shows. Afterwards, the structure will also be used for corporate events.
An association of local producers bought the structure from Veldeman because of its unique features and extensive possibilities for furnishings and audiovisual techniques. The TFS stands out with its huge interior height, unique arch shape, high roof loads, meticulous finish and strikingly sleek roof tarpaulins – black on the inside and silver on the outside.
